SHL-Kosovo in cooperation with KDI, supported by UNDEF are implementing the project: “The Consequences of Environmental Degradation and the Importance of Green Policies”, and that within the framework of this project a public discussion called Green Hour, where we have discussed the promises of the president of Kosovo To the Municipality of Rahovec, for green areas, elimination of illegal dumps, filling them in parks or gardens with shrubs and seedlings, etc.
The discussion was moderated by Mrs. Vjollca S Gurgule, Deputy Director in SHL-Kosovo, present were: Chief of the Cabinet of the Mayor, Mr. Ali Morina, Director of the Directorate for Urbanism and Spatial Planning. Albnor Mullaabazi, Director of EcoRegion Mentor Veliu, Professors, environmentalists and members of the project council Eqrem Sopaj and Bekim Nazifi, community policemen of Rahovec station from the Kosovo Police, Hareja Association, representatives of the Islamic Community, representatives of the two teqs in Rahovec, representatives of KFOR/LMT, chairman of the parent council Mrs. Erseka Cana, QKMF representative, citizens of Rahovec, high school youth, SHL-Kosovo volunteers.
